Manuel Pellegrini's West Ham United have not had to fend off any inquiries for Robert Snodgrass, with a move to Aston Villa looking unlikely.

Robert Snodgrass (C) of Scotland walks onto the pitch during the Scotland training session at Mar Hall on June 9, 2017 in Glasgow, Scotland.

According to a report on Football.London, Robert Snodgrass has impressed in West Ham United training this summer.

Snodgrass was loaned out by Slaven Bilic at West Ham, with the winger spending the whole of last season at Aston Villa.

The 31-year-old’s performance at Villa made him a fans’ favourite, and he has carried that form into the new campaign.

The winger has played more minutes than any other West Ham player over pre-season, with Pellegrini reportedly impressed by his performances in training.

West Ham are yet to have any interest in Snodgrass, which owes largely to Villa’s poor financial standing.

And it seems that any move is now unlikely, with Pellegrini seemingly keen to keep Snodgrass around.

The Scottish international does not appear to have a way into West Ham’s starting line-up right now, but he could prove to be valuable cover as the season progresses.
