Marko Pjaca’s days at Serie A champions Juventus look numbered – is he on his way to the Premier League with Everton and Leicester City linked?

Marko Pjaca is not short of offers as he aims to kick-start his career again.

Everything was looking rosy for the talented Croatian winger when he moved to Juventus from Dinamo Kiev in 2016 for a fee of around £20 million after impressing at the European Championships over in France.

But then his debut season in Italy was cut short by a serious ligament injury. As a result, he tumbled down the pecking order at Juve and hit rock bottom during a forgettable loan spell at Schalke between January and May this year, in which he managed just three starts.

This has not put off clubs across the continent in expressing their interest, however. According to TuttoJuve, Pjaca is being monitored by Premier League pair Everton and Leicester City as well as clubs in France, Spain and Italy.

The 23-year-old is a skilful and versatile attacker blessed with speed, trickery and an eye for goal. It is easy to see why he would appeal to Everton, a club who struggled to open up defences in a dire Premier League campaign in 2017/18.

Though with a record breaking deal to sign Richarlison all but complete, it remains to be seen whether Pjaca is a priority.

At Leicester, meanwhile, he would be tasked with filling the sizeable void left by the departure of Riyad Mahrez to Manchester City.
