According to the Daily Mail, Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha could become Tottenham Hotspur’s first summer signing this week.

Palace want £60 million for the winger, according to The Sun, but Spurs are hopeful of doing a deal for him.

Mauricio Pochettino has been a long-term admirer of Zaha, and a transfer could reportedly be completed within the very near future.

If Zaha does arrive at Spurs it would finally be a statement of intent, after what has been a slow summer so far.

Tottenham are yet to make a signing, after missing out on a number of their targets.

But Pochettino has reportedly narrowed down his search now, with Zaha and Jack Grealish the only two additions he wants.

Grealish’s move from Aston Villa is likely to be completed in the near future, but it seems that Zaha could actually become Tottenham’s first signing of the summer, as he nears an exit from Selhurst Park.
