Some Rangers fans on Twitter have wished Eduardo Herrera the best of luck on Twitter.
The Mexico international has left Rangers to join Santos Laguna on a season-long loan.
However, some fans of the Scottish Premiership giants have congratulated him on his exit and wished him luck during his return to his homeland.
Feliz por este nuevo reto. Vuelvo a Torreón con mucha ilusión pero consciente de la exigencia y el compromiso que es representar a @ClubSantos. Ser #Guerrero es mi estilo de vida. #LoMejorEstáPorVenir #EH pic.twitter.com/BB6tEbOcMZ— Eduardo Herrera (@LaloHerrera15) July 20, 2018

By virtue of the fact that Santos' kit is similar to that of Rangers' Old Firm rivals Celtic, another batch of Gers supporters admitted that they weren't sure about the jersey.

Herrera is obviously a relatively popular figure among some fans of the Glasgow outfit, but it's clear that he was never good enough for the club.
He joined in the same summer as Alfredo Morelos, who scored 16 more goals than him last term. Given that Steven Gerrard has also bolstered his ranks with the addition of Umar Sadiq, the writing has been on the wall for Herrera for some time.
