Bookmakers Ladbrokes have released odds on who they believe Leicester are most likely to sign this summer, and make AZ Alkmaar’s Alireza Jahanbakhsh the 9/4 favourite to make the switch to the east Midlands.

Foxes boss Claude Puel will be desperate to bolster his attacking ranks at the King Power Stadium this summer, following the recent exit of Riyad Mahrez.

And Jahanbakhsh could be just the man for the job.

Ladbrokes list the Iran international as the player who Leicester are most likely to sign this summer.

Good signing for the Foxes?

The 24-year-old would be a great addition to Puel’s squad.

Jahanbakhsh was in quite simply sensational form for AZ Alkmaar last term, racking up an incredible 22 goals and 14 assists in 39 appearances in all competitions for the Eredivisie outfit.

Ajax's Mitchell Dijks (L) vies with Alkmaar's Ali Reza Jahanbakhsh (R) during the Dutch Eredivisie match between AZ Alkmaar and Ajax in Alkmaar on December 17, 2017.

He can play anywhere along the front-line, and plays with a certain kind of directness that would undoubtedly help fill the void left behind by Mahrez.

Leicester fans will be desperate to see their club spend the money they received for the Algerian star, and bringing in the Iran international could be just the tonic for the Foxes.

He is available for around £19.5 million this summer, according to the Leicester Mercury, and in today’s day and age, that represents fantastic value for money.
