Leicester City are reportedly interested in signing the Monaco winger.

According to a report from French media outlet Le 10 Sport, Leicester are eyeing a summer swoop for Monaco winger Rachid Ghezzal, as Claude Puel looks to bring in reinforcements following Riyad Mahrez’s departure form the King Power Stadium.
The 26-year-old joined Monaco on a free transfer from Lyon in the summer of 2017, and he went on to chalk up two goals and four assists in 35 appearances in all competitions.
And whilst his attacking output could undoubtedly have been better, he still is a top quality player – one who would surely add so much to the Foxes’ play in the final third.
Ghezzal is quick off the mark, and possesses exceptional technical ability. He can operate on either flank, as well as in the number 10 role.
The 13-capped Algeria international plays with a certain type of directness that Leicester will need after Mahrez’s exit, and he also possesses a potent delivery from set pieces.

Ghezzal is valued at around £4 million, according to the Sun, and in today’s day and age, that would represent an excellent piece of business for the Foxes.
The Algerian has never really hit the heights that he is truly capable of, that cannot be denied, but if he moves to Leicester, and fulfils his potential, he would surely prove to be a real coup for the east Midlands outfit.
