Mbaye Diagne has been linked with a number of clubs in the top two divisions of English football recently with Turkish Football crediting Hull City, Reading and Bournemouth with an interest.
But the 26-year-old Senegalese striker also has admirers at Elland Road too. Turkish Football add that Leeds United, who have made signing a striker a top priority, are understood to already be in talks with Diagne’s representatives.
The 6ft 3ins centre-forward moved to Turkey in January, joining Kasimpasa after a spell in China with Tianjin Teda. And Diagne was a massive hit in the Super Lig, scoring 12 times in just 17 games for his new club.
And it seems that this form has attracted interest from clubs particularly in the English Championship.
Wiwsport had claimed that Hull City were in talks too as they aim to replace their talisman Abel Hernandez (below). La Liga outfit Real Sociedad and teams from the Middle East are also understood to be keeping tabs on the situation.
But it seems that Leeds are now among the clubs at the front of the queue. Kasimpasa will not let Diagne leave on the cheap, however, given that he has two years left on his contract.
The uncapped Senegal frontman was signed by Juventus in 2013 but left two years later having failed to make a single appearance.
