Glasgow Rangers manager Steven Gerrard has brought Umar Sadiq to Ibrox.

Rangers have signed Umar Sadiq from AS Roma, with the striker joining Steven Gerrard’s Ibrox club on a season-long loan deal in the summer transfer window.
Gianluca Nijholt has revealed to The Scottish Sun that he actually advised to Sadiq to move to Rangers.
The 28-year-old midfielder has stated that he would have liked the Nigeria Under-23 international to pick NAC Breda over any others if he had the chance to.
The 21-year-old striker played with Nijholt at Dutch club NAC, and the former Netherlands Under-21 international has spoken highly of his former teammate, and has revealed that when he was told that Rangers want the youngster, has advised him to move to Ibrox.
Nijholt told The Scottish Sun about Sadiq: “Umar is a really exciting player. The Rangers fans will have a lot of fun with him.”
“When he left us to go back to Italy he didn’t know what he was going to do next, stay with Roma or go somewhere else on loan,” added Nijholt.
“I told him he should come back to us if he could because he was liked by the players and definitely by the supporters.
“He told me that was an option then later he said there was a chance in Scotland with Rangers.
“He asked me what I thought and I said if he had the chance to go to Rangers and work with Steven Gerrard, he had to do it.”

Good signing for Rangers
Sadiq is a very talented and promising young striker, and the Nigerian could be a huge success at Rangers.
The AS Roma-owned striker knows how to score goals, and he also help his teammates in building up attacks.
While Sadiq could take some time to adapt to his new surroundings, get an understanding with his teammates and adapt to Scottish football, the striker has the potential to be a massive success at Rangers.
