Leeds United owner Andrea Radrizzani was in Moscow earlier this week to watch England's World Cup semi-final with Croatia.
While the result was not positive for England, Radrizzani used the event to network.
He was pictured on the Instagram page of former £18 million Leeds' signing Rio Ferdinand, who described Radrizzani as one of 'the guys'.
Ferdinand's picture showed himself and Radrizzani with former Premier League strike hero Didier Drogba and Paris Saint-Germain owner Nasser Al-Khelaifi.
Of the trio, Radrizzani meeting Al-Khelaifi is the most interesting, and Leeds fans will be hoping the club can strike a few deals for PSG talents.
The problem is that so far this summer Leeds' transfer business has been very underwhelming, and their is a lack of confidence that the right deals will be done.
Time is running out before the transfer window closes, but perhaps Radrizzani will pull a late rabbit out of the hat.
