Jos Luhukay's quest to give youth a chance continued as Sheffield Wednesday travelled to Lincoln City on Friday.

As well as Jordan Thorniley and Ashley Baker - two Under-23 players who featured regularly in the Owls' squad towards the end of last season - academy products Jack Lee and Alex Hunt were handed starts at Sincil Bank.

And it was midfielder Hunt - a finalist alongside Reading's Danny Loader and eventual winner Ryan Sessegon of Fulham for last season's LFE Apprentice of the Year award - who caught the eye of some Wednesday supporters present in Lincolnshire.

Despite being distinctively slight in stature, the 18-year-old was not afraid to throw his weight around and also impressed with his range of passing during a 45-minute cameo.
