Tottenham star is determined to play at World Cup 2022.
Rose said: "For me, I am 28 now and I don’t know if this was going to be my last tournament as the squad is getting younger and younger, but I have to look here at Ashley Young playing all the games.
"He is 32 or 33 and has given me hope this is not my last tournament and I am looking forward to going to the Euros and, hopefully, going to another World Cup as this experience has been amazing."
Rose was fortunate to make the England squad for this tournament due to a lack of playing time in the Premier League with Spurs last season and his first step will need to be reclaiming his club place.
This will be tough as Ben Davies proved a quality alternative for Spurs, and the Welshman is rested and likely to start when the season kicks off next month.
Rose's comments at least show he has a lot of motivation moving forward, and this will surely help him at club level over the next few seasons.
