Fulham should make a move for the Newcastle United winger this summer.

Fulham boss Slaviša Jokanović has a lot of work to do at Craven Cottage this summer, if he is to guide his side to a successful Premier League campaign this season.

The west London outfit are thought to be close to bringing in Aleksandar Mitrovic in from Newcastle United, and if they are to get the best out of the Serbian, they will surely be looking to add an established winger to his ranks as well.

With this in mind, Fulham should consider a move for Mitrovic's current Magpies teammate Matt Ritchie, who is a summer transfer target for Stoke City, according to Sky Sports.

Fulham should beat the Potters to the punch, however, and the fact that they can offer the 28-year-old Premier League football could see them steal a march on Gary Rowett's side.

Ritchie is technically gifted, and possesses a potent delivery - something that would surely help get the best out of Mitrovic, if he does eventually complete his switch from Newcastle to Fulham.

The Scotland international joined the Magpies from Bournemouth in the summer of 2016, for a fee believed to be worth in the region of £12 million, and he has gone on to chalk up 19 goals and 16 assists in 86 appearances in all competitions for the Toon.

Ritchie is naturally left footed, but operates on the right wing - something that would add more balance to Fulham's attacking play.

According to the Sun, the 28-year-old is available for somewhere in the region of £15-20 million this summer, and that would represent decent value for money for the Cottagers.

And if Jokanović does manage to bring Ritchie to Craven Cottage this summer, it could turn out to be a signing of real significance for Fulham.
