Aston Villa fans have suggested that Mile Jedinak’s departure could actually be good news for them.

According to The World’s Game, Villa are set to offload Jedinak in the near future.

The veteran midfielder has agreed terms with an unnamed club from Europe, and is expected to leave Villa Park in the very near future.

Mile Jedinak of Aston Villa instructs his team during the Sky Bet Championship match between Fulham and Aston Villa at Craven Cottage on April 17, 2017 in London, England.

The loss of Jedinak is sure to be a blow to Steve Bruce, who has always valued the Australian international.

However, Villa fans understand the decision the club have taken, as losing Jedinak’s wages will significantly cut costs.

Jedinak won’t be the only senior Villa player to leave this summer, as they are in so much financial difficulty.

The claret and blues’ failure to earn promotion last season was a major blow, and Villa are now having to significantly reduce their expenditure this summer.
