Leicester City have finally lost their most prized gem Riyad Mahrez to Manchester City following the Algerian's £60million move to the Etihad Stadium.

The Foxes are now in the market to bring in a replacement and Italian outlet Tuttosport report that Spanish Torino winger Iago Falque is on their radar.

The 28-year-old was a flop during his very brief stints at Tottenham and Southampton, but has since found his form at the Serie A side and could prove to be the perfect replacement for Mahrez if a summer move occurs.

Falque, a former Barcelona and Juventus youth player, bagged 14 goals and 10 assists in 40 games last term, and is also attracting the likes of Sevilla, Valencia, West Ham and Southampton.

The right winger now has 42 league goals in the last four campaigns and is excelling somewhat as a late bloomer.

Falque is brilliant on the counter, can thread in through balls, create chance after chance and is a decent finisher.

The Spaniard could relish the chance to return to England in order to prove himself, and that extra motivation will come handy at the King Power Stadium.

Leicester will surely miss Mahrez, but they can find success in a similar player like Falque who brings a lot of quality in the final third to the table.
