Liverpool youngster Trent Alexander-Arnold says he is 'absolutely devastated' after England were knocked out of the World Cup.

The teenager played in the Three Lions' group stage match with Belgium and was deputising Tottenham ace Kieran Trippier.

England's World Cup is not quite over, with the third place play-off still to play.

The Three Lions face Belgium again, who were beaten by France, and Alexander-Arnold has a strong shot of playing.

In recent weeks he has lost a World Cup semi-final and Champions League final, although he was just an unused substitute for England's defeat.

He will have to use the heartbreak to drive him on for future success.
