According to A Bola, Bruno Fernandes is on Newcastle United’s radar and if they can sign him up he could be their best number 10 for years.

Newcastle are said to be interested in the Sporting Lisbon playmaker, who has been linked with a whole host of Premier League teams recently.

The likes of Liverpool and Tottenham have been said to be interested in Fernandes, after his stellar performances in the Portuguese league last season.

Fernandes scored 16 goals and claimed 20 assists for Sporting last term, making him one of the most creative midfielders in Europe.

And if Newcastle could bring him to St. James’ Park, then he would be a treat for the Magpies crowd to watch.
