Report: Wilfried Zaha rejects £120k-a-week Crystal Palace contract amid interest from clubs including Tottenham Hotspur and Everton

Crystal Palace Chairman, Steve Parish speaks on stage interviewed by James Pearce during the Sport Industry Breakfast Club at the BT Centre on February 28, 2018 in London, England.

Tottenham Hotspur are said to be leading the race to sign the Crystal Palace winger, which also includes Everton.

Wilfried Zaha of Crystal Palace is awarded with the EA SPORTS Player of the Month for April on May 8, 2018 in Beckenham, England.

The Sun reports Wilfried Zaha has turned down a new contract worth £120,000 a week to stay at Crystal Palace, amid interest from Tottenham Hotspur, Everton and Borussia Dortmund.

The newspaper claims Zaha "might want to try himself at a 'big club' again" after a spell with Manchester United earlier in his career.

It adds, however, that Palace are set to return with an improved offer for the winger they allegedly value at £70 million, and could go to £135,000 a week after removing Yohan Cabaye from the wage bill.

Tottenham have long been credited with interest in Zaha and are leading the race for his signature, according to the Sun, although it remains to be seen whether they - not to mention Everton or Dortmund - could afford the Crystal Palace academy product.

Zaha scored or made 12 goals in 29 Premier League games for Palace last season, with the Eagles struggling in his absence.

Tottenham's wide options include Erik Lamela, Lucas Moura and Georges-Kevin N'Koudou, with Theo Walcott, Ademola Lookman, Nikola Vlasic and Yannick Bolasie, the former Crystal Palace player, all capable of playing there for Everton.
