Newcastle United are said to be close to bringing in Chelsea winger Kenedy on loan with a view to a permanent deal.
Kenedy spent the back end of last season on loan at Newcastle, and his performances caught the eye at St. James’ Park.
Rafael Benitez has wanted the winger back ever since, and it seems that he is set to get his wish.
Newcastle are now edging very close to snapping up Kenedy, in what will be their most exciting transfer move of the summer so far.
The Brazilian is hugely popular on Tyneside, due to the success of his loan spell last season.
Kenedy was one of the major reasons why Newcastle were able to stay in the Premier League so comfortably.
The suggestion that Newcastle look set to agree a fee to buy Kenedy for at the end of this campaign will also please Benitez, who has been desperate for the powerful wide-man to return.
Kenedy looks set to become Newcastle’s third signing of the summer, after the arrivals of Martin Dubvraka and Ki Sung-Yeung.
