Some Arsenal fans have responded positively to Everton star Theo Walcott’s message on social networking site Twitter.
Walcott, who can operate as a forward or as a winger, has taken to Twitter to express his delight at returning to pre-season training with Everton.
The 29-year-old joined Everton from Arsenal in the January transfer window for a fee reported by Sky Sports to be worth £20 million.
The former Southampton made 13 starts and one substitute appearances in the Premier League starts for the Toffees during the second half of last season, scoring three goals and providing three assists in the process.
Walcott was on the books of Arsenal from 2006 until January 2018, and it seems that some fans of the North London outfit still have the England international in their hearts.

Still looks odd not wearing an Arsenal top...— Adam Boyce (@boyci3) July 2, 2018
Walcott is a very good attacking player, and the England international will be a key figure for Everton during the 2018-19 campaign.
Marco Silva’s side will be aiming to break into the top six of the Premier League next season.
