Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos is wanted by Fenerbahce, according to Milliyet, which claims that the Turkish club’s director of football Damien Comolli - who has worked in England at Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool and Arsenal - is in Glasgow holding talks with the Ibrox club.
It has been reported by the Turkish news outlet Comolli is trying to come to an agreement with Rangers over the transfer of Morelos, who has been on the books of the Ibrox side since the summer of 2017 when he moved to the Gers from Finnish team HJK Helsinki for a transfer fee reported by Sky Sports to be worth £1.5 million.
It seems that Turkish giants Fenerbahce are determined to secure the services of Morelos, and perhaps it is only a matter of time before the Colombian striker leaves Ibrox.
After all, if Steven Gerrard's Rangers were 100% determined to keep hold of the 22-year-old, then they would not have even entertained any talks with Fenerbahce.
That Comolli - who is a very shrewd negotiator and is well respected within the football community - has flown to Glasgow, as reported by Milliyet, shows that Rangers are open to selling Morelos - at the right price, of course.
