Former Leeds midfielder Palmer believes that the 23-year-old midfielder, who won the Toulon Tournament with the England Under-21 side in 2016, is a good signing for the West Yorkshire outfit.

“He is a good young prospect. He was part of the Under-20 England team that won the tournament, so he is a good signing.”

Good signing for Leeds United

Baker did not have a great time during his loan spell at Middlesbrough in the Championship last season, but there is no doubt that the midfielder is very talented and promising.

The 23-year-old Englishman is a very creative footballer who can also help out his team in defence, and the Elland Road faithful should be excited at the prospect of watching him in action next season.

With competition for places fierce at Chelsea, Baker will be aiming to establish himself as a key player for Leeds, and perhaps he could earn a permanent contract at the Whites should he be able to help him get back to the Premier League.
