Blackman has been on the books of Chelsea since 2006, but the goalkeeper has failed to break into the Blues’ first team.
The former England Under-19 international has been out on loan a number of times in the last few years, including one at Leeds's Championship rivals Sheffield United last season.
The 24-year-old was a regular for United in the Championship during the 2017-18 campaign, as the Blades made an unlikely push for the playoffs.
United fans rate Blackman highly, and their following comments on social networking site Twitter suggest that Leeds are (reportedly) set to sign a very good and promising goalkeeper.
Leeds endured a disappointing season in 2017-18, and the West Yorkshire outfit will be aiming for promotion to the Premier League with Marcelo Bielsa now in charge of the first team.
Agreed. Only a couple of bad games, was pretty solid for the majority of the season. Gutted we didn’t get him back— Chris T (@cjtbb) June 30, 2018
Few shaky moments early on, but after that was excellent. Very disappointed he didn't come back to us. Nice lad too— Bridgette (@BridgetteG68) June 30, 2018
Very good. Got better as season went on. Great reaction saved and commands area. Suspect at long range shots.— Danny (@8djc8) June 30, 2018

Good keeper yes. Collects nearly every cross put in the box. One of my fave recent blades keepers— Reedy (@Reedyyy_26) June 29, 2018
