Simon Mignolet suggested on Friday that he could leave Liverpool - a prospect that some fans of the Anfield club are totally behind.
The Belgium goalkeeper hasn't played for Liverpool since January after being displaced by Loris Karius.
With the German making two blunders in the Champions League final last month, Reds boss Jurgen Klopp is expected to sign a new keeper - a move which could relegate Mignolet to third choice.
Consequently, the former Sunderland star, who earns around £60,000 per week on Merseyside, admitted to talkSPORT yesterday that he will assess his situation after the World Cup.
"I am going to look at my situation when I come back from the World Cup. At this moment I have not been speaking to anyone at Liverpool because I have been trying to focus on Belgium."
Mignolet isn't the most popular figure among Liverpool fans - though he might be slightly more popular than Karius at the moment, following the high-profile errors in Kiev - and here is how some supporters reacted to his comments:
Being honest, it wouldn't be a good look for Liverpool if the 30-year-old is still there come August. He has needed replacing for quite a while now and questions should be asked if Klopp doesn't get it done this summer.
