Arsenal have been linked with improbable move for Tottenham ace.
Arsenal have not signed a Tottenham first team player since 2001 and considering the anger the move caused, it is little wonder there have been no repeats.
Referred to as a 'Judas' by Spurs supporters, Campbell had to run a gauntlet of hate every time the two teams faced off and even to this day the bitterness has not dissappated.
So it would be a big surprise if Heung Min Son followed suit 17 years on in crossing the North London divide.
Arsenal are claimed to be keen on Son, whose contract at Spurs run out in 2020, with the South Korean valued at £61 million.
They are not the only ones, with Manchester United and Liverpool also rumoured to be keen.
Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy would only do business with Arsenal highly reluctantly, and most probably, not at all.
He has not before, and has no reason to start now.
Arsenal fans though are intrigued by the rumours, here is a look at how they reacted via Twitter...
I don't want to hear any other thing. Mix Son is available for signing, Arsenal should do all it takes to sign him up.. Far better than Fabinho Welbeck and Iwobi— Engrchris01 (@Da_Ozone) June 27, 2018
Heung-min Son just kicked the Germans out of the World Cup. Sign him up NOW @Arsenal— The Notorious (@El_Jassmi) June 27, 2018
Arsenal lack a player like Son. Would take him in a heartbeat— . (@Gooner1216) June 27, 2018
Sounds like Heung-min Son is on the market. Arsenal missed out on him years ago when scouts recommend Wenger sign him. Quality player— Ⓜ️bizO (@GoonerMbizo) June 27, 2018
Would you take Son at Arsenal? Iam not so sure.— arsenalmad79Reloaded (@arsenalmad37) June 27, 2018
