Leeds United fans may have further proof that they are closing in on signing Abel Hernandez, as the Daily Mirror have reported.

Leeds are said to be on the verge of bringing Hernandez to Elland Road, with Marcelo Bielsa happy to have the Uruguayan forward in his squad.

Abel Hernandez of Hull City reacts during the Premier League match between Hull City and Sunderland at the KCOM Stadium on May 6, 2017 in Hull, England.

And the reports may be given further credibility, by the fact Galatasaray are chasing Ahmed Musa.

Musa’s agent has already told the Leicester Mercury that Musa in in talks with Gala, which looks like great news for Leeds.

Hernandez had been linked with a move to the Turkish side in CalcioMercato, but they appear to have given up the chase.

And that may well suggest that Hernandez to Leeds is all but a done deal.

If Hernandez does arrive it will be a great start to life for Bielsa at Elland Road, as the former Hull City man could be the prolific striker that Leeds have been looking for since Chris Wood’s departure last year.
