Steven Gerrard snapped up Jon Flanagan for Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers earlier today.

Glasgow Rangers fans may not be too encouraged by what Bolton Wanderers fans are saying about Jon Flanagan.
Rangers signed Flanagan from Liverpool earlier today, with the full-back signing a two-year deal at Ibrox.

Flanagan is a player who Rangers boss Steven Gerrard knows well, having been teammates with him at Liverpool during his playing days.
However, Bolton fans do not think that Flanagan’s move to Rangers will work out, and are not disappointed at missing out on him.
Flanagan was on loan at Bolton last season, and it was towards the back end of the campaign when his form really tailed off.
Gerrard reportedly believes that he can get Flanagan back to his best at Rangers though, after his career has stalled in recent times.
The full-back broke into Liverpool’s team as a teenager, but has barely featured more recently, and a move to Rangers could be the fresh start that he needs.
At Ibrox, Flanagan will be in competition with James Tavernier for a place at right-back.
