Did Liverpool fans put new rivalry with Tottenham aside?

Harry Kane had England fans cheering when he scored a late winner for the Three Lions against Tunisia.

But not quite everyone was able to bring themselves to celebrate Kane's injury time header.

Liverpool fans stoked up quite the rivalry with Tottenham Hotspur over the final four months of the season, with Kane at the heart of it.

He was accused of diving for a penalty at Anfield by Reds defender Virgil van Dijk, before his determination to beat Mohamed Salah to the Golden Boot ruffled even the Egyptian's feathers.

Kane fell short of Salah in the Premier League, but he has a headstart at the World Cup with the Liverpool forward missing Egypt's opening game against Uruguay through injury.

The Tottenham centre forward now has two goals to his name and Panama are up next.

Some Liverpool supporters did not know how to react to his brace, with some celebrating regardless, and others referring to Mohamed Salah and even singing a song about the Reds forward.
