Report: Glasgow Rangers and Celtic both hold talks with Sean Clare

Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers and Celtic are both said to be keen on bringing Sean Clare to Scotland.

According to a report on TeamTalk, Celtic and Glasgow Rangers have both held talks with Sean Clare of Sheffield Wednesday.

Clare’s contract at Wednesday is due to expire, and both Celtic and Rangers want to bring him to Scotland.

The Glasgow duo would only have to pay minimal compensation to land the central midfielder, and he has reportedly held talks with both clubs.

Rangers have already been very active in the transfer window since Steven Gerrard took charge, with a host of new faces arriving at Ibrox.

Rangers are expected to make wholesale changes this summer in the hope of catching Celtic, and Clare is believed to be on their wishlist.
