Fabian Delph starred at Elland Road a week ago, just like old times.
The difference was that instead of playing for Leeds he was starring for England, and he is now heading to the World Cup.
He has not forgotten that the Whites made him who he is, and he was not the only one.
Delph played in the Leeds youth teams alongside Danny Rose, who is also with him in Russia.
The Manchester City midfielder sent a message on Instagram to fans, showing he has not forgotten his roots, displaying a picture of himself with Danny Rose in Leeds colours 16 years ago.
England teammate Rose is currently starring for Tottenham, with The Mail reporting he is valued at £50 million.
Delph won the Premier League title with Manchester City last season, and the pair are now living their dreams.
It is a shame for Leeds that they had to leave to accomplish their goals, but perhaps one day, they will be back.
