Tottenham Hotspur fans have urged Daniel Levy to make a move for Bruno Fernandes, with his future at Sporting Lisbon very uncertain.

Tottenham were linked with Fernandes earlier in the transfer window, but the cost of the deal looked prohibitive.

The Daily Mirror claimed that Sporting were looking for £87 million for their star play-maker, but all of a sudden he could be available on a free.

Record have reported that Fernandes is trying to terminate his contract with the Portuguese side, and Spurs fans have urged Levy to take advantage of the situation.

If Fernandes is available on a free, it is almost certain that Tottenham wouldn’t be the only club to make a move for the attacking midfielder.

The Portuguese international has been one of the most effective creators in Europe over the past season, with his form catching the eye.

If Fernandes was brought to Tottenham he would increase the creativity on offer to Mauricio Pochettino for next season.

And, on a free, Fernandes could be the bargain buy of the summer for any club.
