According to The Daily Mail (Transfer Live blog, 09:23am, Tuesday, June 12, 2018), Cardiff manager Neil Warnock is set to sign Murphy after agreeing a £10.5 million deal with Norwich.
Fulham and Brighton and Hove Albion had also reported enquired about the 23-year-old, who is the twin brother of Newcastle United winger Jacob Murphy.
The report has also claimed that Murphy will undergo a medical today and will sign a five-year contract with Cardiff, who will play in the Premier League next season after winning automatic promotion from the Championship.
Murphy scored seven goals and provided three assists in 34 Championship starts for Cardiff during the 2018-19 campaign.
Will be sad to see Josh Murphy go but £10 Million is a very good price, he has all the attributes to play in Premier League just needs to be more consistent with his end product, Academy must’ve been doing something right after all#Ncfc— Darren Huckerby (@hucks6dh6) June 11, 2018
