Blackburn Rovers are being linked with two Chelsea defenders ahead of their return to the Championship.

According to the Daily Mirror (liveblog entry 15:16), Rovers are keen to take Trevoh Chalobah, who trained with England's senior squad last week, on a season-loan loan.

And it is claimed the League One runners up are also eyeing a deal for Michael Hector, who recently completed a temporary at Hull City.

Chalobah, the younger brother of Watford's Nathaniel Chalobah, was named the Chelsea bench for last month's FA Cup final.

But according to the Daily Mirror, Tony Mowbray, the Blackburn manager, is hoping the chance to play regular football will appeal to the 18-year-old and his employers.

Hector, a shock £5 million signing for Jose Mourinho three years ago, appeared 38 times for Hull last season but could be on the move again this summer.

The 25-year-old, who also plays in central midfield, has yet to feature for the Blues' first team.

Would Chalobah and Hector be good signings for Blackburn?
