Crystal Palace are reportedly keen on the former England international.

According to a report from Football.London, Crystal Palace are considering a swoop for Glen Johnson, who is available on a free transfer following his release from Stoke City.
The 54-capped England international joined Stoke in the summer of 2015, and went on to make 64 appearances in all competitions for the Potters.

At the age of 33, he is undoubtedly well past his best, but that isn’t to say that he doesn’t have plenty left still to offer at the very highest level.
According to Football.London, Johnson could be targeted by Palace this summer, as Roy Hodgson looks to add more competition for places in the full-back department.

The former Chelsea and Liverpool ace is most comfortable when deployed in the right-back position, but he can also operate as a left-back, and that kind of versatility could prove to be a real asset for Crystal Palace next season.
Johnson also offers a lot in the final third, and that kind of attacking nature would provide Hodgson with an entirely different option down the right flank next season.
