Southampton could reportedly take advantage of Aston Villa’s financial situation.

Aston Villa players Keinan Davis and Andre Green are attracting interest from Southampton, according to the Daily Mail.
And the newspaper claims Southampton are ‘weighing up bids of between £3-4million’ for the young attackers.

20-year-old Davis and 19-year-old Green have already made 37 and 26 Villa appearances, respectively – although the latter would have far more but for last season’s long-term lay-off.
And the pair are expected to feature regularly next term, according to the Daily Mail, with ‘massive cost-cutting’ required after the Villans’ failure to gain promotion back to the Premier League.
However, Steve Bruce’s side could find it difficult to resist offers for any of their players, given the severity of their financial situation – a potential boost to the chances of Southampton manager, and Bruce’s former teammate, Mark Hughes.

Davis, a striker, signed for Aston Villa from non-league Biggleswade Town two-and-a-half years ago, while Green, a winger, progressed through the ranks at Villa Park.
At what price should Aston Villa consider selling the rumoured Southampton targets?
