Everton and Brighton and Hove Albion have been linked with Ezri Konsa of Charlton Athletic in the summer transfer window.

It has been reported that Everton manager Marco Silva is a big fan of Konsa from his time as the Watford manager.

The report has also claimed that Silva is eyeing the 20-year-old defender as a long-term replacement for 35-year-old centre-back Phil Jagielka – who earns £50,000 per week as salary, according to Spotrac.com, and has been on the books of the Toffees since the summer of 2007 when he joined from Sheffield United for a transfer fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £4 million.
The Mirror (Transfer Live blog, 22:14, Sunday, June 3, 2018) has also claimed that Brighton and Hove Albion will challenge Everton in a £5 million fight for Konsa.

Talented and promising
Konsa is a very talented and promising young defender who can only get better in the coming years.
Leaving League One club Charlton for Premier League outfit Everton would be a massive step-up, but Konsa is only 20 years of age and is still developing as a footballer.
