Tottenham Hotspur are continuing to track Manchester United’s Luke Shaw, report The Mail.

This is despite Shaw’s reported desire to stick it out at Old Trafford next season.

Shaw has failed to win over United boss Jose Mourinho and did not even make the squad for the recent FA Cup final.

Tottenham are long standing admirers of Shaw, with the player previously enjoying starring under Mauricio Pochettino at Southampton.

The Mail also report that Shaw is represented by the agent of Gareth Bale, which is an interesting wrinkle to the situation for Spurs, either complicating the matter or potentially smoothing it if relations over the Welshman’s future develop.

Shaw has one year remaining on his contract and he could leave United on a free transfer next summer.

Everton and AS Monaco are also keen, with the report stating Shaw wants to get to 2019 to assess his options more closely.

Tottenham’s desire to sign him is complicated by both current star Danny Rose, and their long standing interest in budding talent Ryan Sessegnon.
