Leeds United have been strongly linked with Kristian Pedersen.

Leeds United could be nearing their first signing of the summer, after being strongly linked with Kristian Pedersen.

German newspaper BILD reported earlier this month Leeds were hoping to sign him.

They then reported last week that Pedersen is leaving for the English Championship.

Now Pedersen has dropped a little hint he is literally on the move, posting a cryptic tweet from an airport via his Instagram account…

Pedersen, 23, is a left-back who plays for German side Union Berlin.

The latest BILD report claimed Union have made the decision to keep loaned out Christopher Lenz, because Pedersen is leaving.

Leeds have been trying to replace left-back Charlie Taylor since he left last summer.

Youngster Tom Pearce has shown promise after breaking into the first team, but January signing Laurens De Bock struggled.

His picture at an airport shows Pedersen is heading somewhere, and if it is Leeds, he would become the club’s first summer signing.
