Burnley won the race to sign Taylor from Leeds United last summer.

Charlie Taylor was one of last summer’s most sought after signings, with Burnley said to have seen off a host of clubs to lure the left-back from Leeds United.
But Taylor’s Clarets move has not gone entirely to plan – the 24-year-old playing 11 times to date in the Premier League.
It took four months and an injury to Stephen Ward before Taylor made his league bow for Burnley, although he did start August’s EFL Cup games against Blackburn Rovers and Leeds.
And his run in the side coincided with a significant dip in form for Sean Dyche’s men – his only top flight win in Claret arriving at the very first attempt, after he replaced Ward in December’s 1-0 win against Stoke City.

Burnley won five of their next six upon Ward’s return to the XI two-and-a-half months ago and, according to the Daily Telegraph, they are ready to offer £6 million for another left-back, Joe Bryan of Bristol City.
And while Bryan – who HITC Sport understands Leeds enquired about during last summer’s transfer window – can also play further upfield, it would appear the writing may already be on the wall for Taylor at Turf Moor.
Should Burnley persevere with the former Leeds United man?
