Leeds United owner has made no secret of admiration for Claudio Ranieri.

Leeds United owner Andrea Radrizzani should already be considering axing under performing manager Paul Heckingbottom.
If he was not already, then he may be now, due to uncertainty over his dream appointment, Claudio Ranieri.
Ranieri is current boss of Nantes, but perhaps for not too much longer.

This could provide a unique opportunity for Radrizzani to get his man.
The Italian told told SkySports just this January:“We needed to have a coach with personality. For a moment I thought maybe I want someone with more experience, more seasons behind him, someone like a [Claudio] Ranieri kind of manager, but he’s obviously busy in France.”
Last summer before hiring Thomas Christiansen, ESPN reported Ranieri was a top target, and the Daily Star claiming the Leeds owner made an approach.

With Heckingbottom failing to work out, winning just three games in three months, Leeds need to consider a change.
If Ranieri does lose his job as he is reported to be close to doing, it would be no surprise to see Radrizzani attempt to finally bring him in.
