Miller is in his third spell at Rangers at the moment and has a contract with the Ibrox club until the end of the season.
The 38-year-old former Celtic striker is currently suspended by Rangers, along with his teammate and 30-year-old left-back Lee Wallace, as stated on the Gers’ official website.
According to The Scottish Sun, the striker and the defender were involved in a bust-up with Rangers manager Graeme Murty following the Gers’ 4-0 defeat to Old Firm rivals Celtic at Hampden Park in the semi-finals of the Scottish Cup.
Hearts forward Lafferty, who was on the books of Rangers from 2008 until 2012, hopes that Miller and Wallace can sort out the current situation with the club.
The 30-year-old Northern Ireland international, who played at the Euro 2016 finals, told Sky Sports: “Knowing Kenny and knowing Lee - I have played with them - they are both born winners. They are Rangers guys. They want what’s best for the club.”
“Hopefully they can work it out and hopefully we will see Kenny in a Rangers shirt before he leaves,” Lafferty added.

Lafferty knows Rangers inside out, having been a success during his time at Ibrox from 2008 until 2012.
It is great that the Hearts forward wants the best for his former teammates and his former club.
