Liverpool are reportedly rivalling Tottenham for the signing of Bruno Fernandes.

Portugal's midfielder Bruno Fernandes stands prior to the international friendly football match between Portugal and Netherlands at Stade de Geneve stadium in Geneva on March 26, 2018.

Liverpool fans on Twitter are liking the look of Bruno Fernandes after being linked with the Portuguese midfielder recently.

According to The Mirror, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur will go head-to-head over signing the Sporting Lisbon star this summer.

The 23-year-old, who has 14 goals for this season, has already been scouted by both the Reds and Spurs and manager Jurgen Klopp is said to be weighing up a bid.

Liverpool already have Naby Keita to look forward to next season, and some fans of the Anfield club are intrigued about the prospect of seeing Fernandes line up in the same side.

Here is some reaction from their supporters:

Fernandes has a release clause of around £87 million according to The Mirror and that might give Liverpool an advantage over Spurs, if both sides are genuinely interested.

Not only can the Merseysiders trump the Lilywhites in terms of transfer fee, but they can also offer him significantly better personal terms, given Tottenham's wage cap, and if Klopp really is keen then he might just get him.
