Patrick Roberts has stuttered on loan at Celtic this season.
The 21-year-old rejoined Celtic for a second time last summer after his previous 18-month loan north of the border had finished. But this season, he has failed to replicate the kind of form he had previously shown.
In his 60 Celtic appearances before this season, Roberts had scored more than one in every four games with 17 goals, as well as laying on 21 assists. This time around, he has managed just one goal in 15 games.
A long-term hamstring injury has kept the Manchester City winger on the sidelines for much of the season, but his undoubted potential is still interesting Premier League sides.
The report claims a handful of top-flight English sides have asked about the former Fulham star, ahead of the summer with a permanent move to Celtic unlikely as the Hoops will be unable to afford what is expected to be an eight-figure price tag.
Roberts still has two years to run on his contract with the Premier League champions, a deal which the Daily Star claim is worth £5,000 a week.
