Peter Odemwingie has suggested that he still believes that West Bromwich Albion could pull off a ‘miracle’ and survive in the Premier League.

Odemwingie was delighted that his former side were able to pick up a shock victory over Manchester United at Old Trafford yesterday.

West Brom won 1-0 against Jose Mourinho’s side in their most recent outing, in what was surely the biggest upset of the Premier League season.

The Baggies are still cut adrift at the bottom of the table, but Odemwingie is hopeful that his old team can stay up.

West Brom picked up their victory over United thanks to a poacher’s goal from Jay Rodriguez.

To stand any chance of staying in the Premier League, West Brom would likely have to win every one of their remaining fixtures.

The Baggies are currently nine points adrift of safety, with just four games remaining.

West Brom look almost certain to be playing Championship football next term, when big changes could happen.
