Everton's season continues to peter out as they drew 1-1 at Swansea City on Saturday afternoon, with question marks still hanging over Sam Allardyce's role as manager.

The Toffees had drawn 0-0 in a dour showing against Liverpool last weekend, and were hoping for better as they travelled down to South Wales – but ended up picking up another draw.

Everton did take the lead, as Kyle Naughton's own goal put the Toffees in front, only for Jordan Ayew to rescue a point for Swansea in the second half.

Everton added another point to their tally, but it was another fairly dismal performance from the Toffees, with Allardyce under increasing pressure ahead of the summer.

Toffees fans are far from impressed with Allardyce's tactics and team selection, and they were left baffled by the continued absence of midfielder Davy Klaassen on Saturday afternoon.

The Dutchman was a big-money signing from Ajax last summer but has endured a nightmare season, and has played just six minutes of Premier League action under Allardyce.

Klaassen wasn't even named on the bench against Swansea, and fans took to Twitter to suggest that there is no way Klaassen could possibly be worse than the players Allardyce is picking, suggesting that the 25-year-old must be given a chance before the end of the season.
