Venancio featured for Wednesday in the Championship game against Hull away from home at the KCOM Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
The 25-year-old central defender started the match and played for the entire 90 minutes, as the Owls 1-0.
Wednesday fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of former Portugal Under-21 international centre-back Venancio, who joined the Owls on a season-long loan deal from Vitoria Setubal in the summer of 2017 - they want the club to sign him on a permanent contract in the summer transfer window.
Below are some of the best comments:
I tell you what, it’s no coincidence Venancio comes back in and we get a clean sheet #SWFC— Josh Weston (@jweston_8) April 15, 2018
Good solid performance yesterday - Rhodes took goal well, Pelupessy is improving, bannan and Forestieri are class - Venancio was a rock too. All round, good away day! #swfc— Paul Sewell (@PaulGSewell) April 15, 2018

Whole team were cerunfood first half. Dropped off in the second 45 but defended well. Venancio just edged it for me as star man.
Me neither. Remember him making his debut V Boro and I liked the look of him. Been class since.— Elliott (@E_Jackson21) April 14, 2018
If he’s out of contract at his parent club, we have to offer him a permanent deal #swfc— Jordan Bellamy (@Bellamyswfc) April 14, 2018
