Report: Liverpool set to sign Manchester City’s Bobby Duncan

Liverpool have been linked with Bobby Duncan of Manchester City in the summer transfer window.

Liverpool will sign Bobby Duncan from Manchester City in the summer transfer window, according to The Sun.

It has been reported by the British tabloid that the Reds will have to pay City a compensation fee of around £200,000 in order to secure the services of Duncan.

The 16-year-old playmaker is reportedly in a contract dispute with the Citizens and is training with League One club Wigan Athletic at the moment.

Promising talent

Duncan is a hugely talented and promising young playmaker who has a bright future ahead of him.

The 16-year-old is also the cousin of Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard, who is in charge of the Reds’ Under-18 side at the moment.

The youngster will probably not be ready for the first time for a couple of more years at least, but securing the services of such a talented player will be a coup for Liverpool in the long run.

Earlier this week, Liverpool knocked Premier League rivals City out of the Champions League at the quarter-final stage.
