West Ham United striker Javier Hernandez is reportedly on the radar of DC United in the summer transfer window.

It has been reported that the Major League Soccer outfit have Hernandez on their wishlist, along with Carlos Tevez.
Tevez, now on the books of Argentine giants Boca Juniors, was at West Ham from the summer of 2006 until the summer of 2007.

According to The Mirror, West Ham wanted to re-sign the Argentina international striker in the summer of 2016.
Hernandez joined the Hammers from Bayer Leverkusen in the summer of 2017 for a transfer fee reported by The London Evening Standard to be worth £16 million.

Surprise destination
Hernandez is not guaranteed a place in the West Ham starting lineup at the moment, but there is no doubt that the former Manchester United striker is good enough to play in the Premier League.
The 29-year-old is a proven goalscorer who would be a great signing for Newcastle United or Everton in the summer transfer window.
Given that the Mexico international still has a fair few years left in him at the very top level, it could come as a surprise if he left West Ham for DC United in MLS in the summer transfer window.
