Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane is among the six nominees for the 2018 PFA Young Player of the Year.
Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford and Fulham youngster Ryan Sessegnon have also been nominated.
One player who has not been nominated for the prestigious award is Trent Alexander-Arnold, and Liverpool fans are not happy, as shown in the following posts on social networking site Twitter.
Even fans of rival Premier League clubs are surprised that the 19-year-old right-back, who is valued at €42.7 million (£37.02m) by CIES Football Observatory, has not been nominated for the prestigious award, while United forward Rashford has been.

Alexander-Arnold has made 15 starts and one substitute appearance in the Premier League for Liverpool so far this season, scoring one goal and providing one assist in the process.
In seven Champions League appearances for the Reds so far this campaign, the youngster has scored one goal and provided one assist.
The 19-year-old right-back has not had a great season on a consistent basis, but in recent weeks the England Under-21 international has been playing well and has established himself as an important player in Jurgen Klopp’s team.
