Crouch started his career at Tottenham and has another spell at the North London outfit from 2009 until 2001.
The 37-year-old English striker was on the books of Liverpool from 2005 until 2008, while former England international defender Carragher spent his entire professional club football career at Anfield from the late 1990s until 2013.
Crouch, who joined Stoke from Tottenham in the summer of 2011 for a transfer fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £12 million, has revealed what Carragher used to say about Spurs.
“Tottenham have made themselves regulars in the top four but they are too good not to have medals,” Crouch wrote in The Daily Mail.
“I know what the outside view of Tottenham used to be — Jamie Carragher used to say at Liverpool ‘they’ll blow up, they always do’ — but I also know how much they want that to change."
Progress under Mauricio Pochettino
Tottenham have progressed massively since 2014 when Mauricio Pochettino was appointed the manager.
The North London outfit have established themselves as regulars in the Premier League and have gone close to winning the Premier League title for the past two seasons.
Spurs have also featured in the Champions League for the past two seasons and are likely to make it three years in a row.
