Jamal Blackman has impressed since his temporary switch to the Blades in the summer.

Sheffield United boss Chris Wilder has confirmed an interest in signing Chelsea goalkeeper Jamal Blackman on a permanent deal, according to the Hull Daily Mail.
The 24-year-old has made 27 league appearances for the Blades in their first season back in the Championship, generally impressing.
Blackman signed a long-term contract with Chelsea lasting until 2021 before signing off on a season-long loan deal in July.
As is the case with many of Chelsea’s academy talents, Blackman is yet to make his senior bow.

Instead, the 6’6 shot stopper has been shipped out to Middlesbrough, Ostersunds, Wycombe and now the Blades for loan spells.
Blackman played a pivotal part in Wycombe’s promotion push, with the Chairboys narrowly missing out on a League Two play-off place last season.
Many felt Blackman had earned a spot in the PFA Team of the Season, however he was edged out by Plymouth’s Luke McCormick.

The 24-year-old took to the Championship like a duck to water as Sheffield United looked to contend for a shock promotion bid in the early stages.
However, that momentum tailed off slightly from December onwards with the Blades now sitting in 9th position, two points behind the play-off positions.
Blackman himself has been absent since January’s trip to Norwich City, undergoing treatment for a damaged muscle with his parent club in London according to the Sheffield Star.

Wilder said: “We’re trying to get the ball rolling because we like to work medium to long term as well,”
“Jamal will come into consideration with a big end to the season.”
